I recently received a post graduation work permit valid for 2 years, however, I am not permitted to work in healthcare which I intend to do. I have since gotten a medical exam and am now wondering how to apply to amend the terms of my PGWP.
I downloaded the imme5710 form but am unsure how to fill out the first question: “I am applying for one or more of the following - 1. Apply for a work permit with the same employer 2. Apply for a work permit for the first time or with a new employer 3. Restore my status as a worker 4. Get a new temporary resident permit (for inadmissible applicants only).
Additionally, I do not know what to put down as information about my future employer as I plan to keep the same job until I can change the terms of my visa. Does applying with IMMe5710 change my visa status from open to closed?
Finally, how do I submit this application online? Is there a way to submit it at a US boarder crossing as I am a US citizen?
