Hello Friends
I got a letter from visa office yesterday that I am not illegible for processing because according to them I do not have continuous full time or equivalent amount of part time paid working experience in the last ten years.
I am surprised!!!, I had involved in teaching (NOC 4131) as a part time lecturer since Jan 2006 to the mid of 2011 ( I worked nearly 4 colleges but in all cases as a part time lecturer only). But I had worked daily about 7 hours.
on the basis of 37.5 hrs/week consider as a full time (according to cic web site) there will be 1800 hrs/year in order to be full time.
when I calculated my part time working hours(via different colleges) from 2006 to 2011 , It will be more than 12,000 hrs in last five yearsb\. In this way , if i am right , I do have 6.6 years of full time work experience in the past five years ( 12000/1800 = 6.6)
what shall i do???????
Do I need to send them clarification letters from concerned college??????
Am I illegible ????? or do i give up my dream to go canada from this occupation 4131?????
Please suggest me. I am looking for experienced suggestion rather than guess

April14,
sorry to hear about your rejection....

Did you submit Job description letters ( indicating day-to-day activities and responsibilities) alongwith your application?

You may appeal against the decision if your paper work was proper.

Can1122

So did you apply for Federal Skilled Worker?
If so what is the job category did you apply?

4131 is a skilled job but not on the required list for the Canadian Immigration. Yet the work experience count on 4131.

The issue is not the total number of hours you work for an year. It should be at least 37.5 hours per week.

You letters should clearly state how many hours per week you work at all the colleges. Combined value should be at least 37.5

Dear April14,

pls share your time lines and is your file gone in real IP with date then received letter ? or

what your Ecas shown Inprocess with document received at VO or

we reviewed your application on XX date and decision made sent you letter - delay in delivery ?

for 4131 they are check where you are working for ( big institute / small institute / college or classes etc ) and are you eligible to teach someone etc. ( like Masters degree holder/ BEd / MEd ) / have you produced pay evidences - reference letter / IT returns etc.
