Am I qualified?

My job type is under NOC 2174 or 2173 (Software Developer)
And I need to get 7 in all of the abilities ( 6 band in all )or, 6 of any one of the abilities (Band 5.5) and 7 or higher in other 2 ( band 6 or higher )and 8 (band 7 or higher) in the remaining ability.

What the hell is the difference btw ability and band??
I got 6,6,7,7 and 6.5 overall band. Is this a qualified score for applying for CEC?

your job is considered Skilled Level "A" and you need to have atleast a "6" in all four categories to qualify. And in your case, you are qualified.

your ability = your IELTS score

your band = your IELTS score conversion into CLB Levels

for CEC Skilled Level A, you need to score at least a "6" in all four categories and "6" is equivalent to a CLB 7.

Min of "6" at each category is required. so the answer to your question is NO

Your scores are too low. Need to have atleast a "6" for ALL categories to qualify.

I need your advise if Im eligible to apply for immigration under 1112 based on below Ielts results:

Listening: 6.5
Reading: 5.5
Writing: 7.5
Speaking: 8.0

Overall 7.0

And can I apply for points for my husbands ielts score under adaptibility:

Listening: 5.5
Reading: 3.0
Writing: 4.5
Speaking: 6.5
