Hi, everyone! I need some advices to help me verify I am qualified for CEC or not. I have a post-graduate work permit, and I worked as a pizza cook for about one year in past two years. Also, I started my new job as Administrative Assistant in a small private high school office since September this year. My IELTS test is not that good, the overall score is 5.5, listening is 5, reading is 5, writing is 6, speaking is 5.5. Furthermore, what is the progressing time for CEC now, I saw from the CIC that was 13 months.
ps: I did some research by myself, which cook and administrative assistant are both belong to NOC B, and my IELTS also reaches the minimum of NOC B job requirement. But I still need someone to help me to make sure this. Thanks very much!
Thanks first! I am in Regina now. The Saskatchewan Immigration office requires for the job approval letter, it gonna take long time to get the job approval letter through the internet now (about 3 months). So I found I am maybe qualified for CEC, then I can try to apply by CEC, I think it will be faster than PNP. But I don't know my job experiences as a pizza cook and IELTS score are difficult for applying CEC or not. This is what I am worried about.
Pizza cook is eligible under NOC 6322. Skill level B.
All you will need for CEC is one-year of full-time employment or 1950 hours of at least 12 months time. You can use a combination of different jobs as long as they are Skill 0,A,B.
