I got the following score in Nov 1st exam in hyd...
Listening 6.5
Reading 6.5
Writing 6.0
Speaking 6.5
Overall 6.5
Am I eligible to apply under Software Engineer category..
"217 Computer and information systems professionals"
This however falls under NOC A category and as per .cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/language-testing.asp
The expected CBL level is mentioned as 7 (with each category minimum as 6.0)
Someone told me that 6.5 will be rounded to 7 and can be qualified for the processing. Want to confirm though if it's true...Can I apply with this score?

Yes - your scores are eligible since the minimum score allowed for NOC 0 and A is a "6" and you've done that for all four sections.
Part 2 of your question - 6.5 will never be rounded to a 7 in any situation in CIC.
The scores are graded individually - the overall score is more important for those who want to apply for Universities and Colleges. For immigration, the overall score is not looked at.
