Hello.
I officially complete 1 year of work experience in March 6. I have 3 options for making profile
Make profile on March 6
Make profile on March 1
Make profile on February 1
The reason why I am asking is because my CRS is 523, and I am eligible for both CEC and french-draws, so I am likely to receive an ITA relatively fast.
If I make a profile on february 1, get invited, and wait 2 months before submitting application, would I be okay even if I got an ITA at 11 months? What is your opinion? Should I just wait until March.
I have heard from a lot of people that they made a profile 1 month early and got PR with no issue, but I’m concerned of the IRCC making an example out of me for receiving an ITA early and giving me a 5 year ban.

Yes you may open a profile. Wait out the 1 year completion of your work experience after receiving ITA and then make sure you finished your 1 year on the day of your e-APR! Keep at least 4-5 buffer days before accepting the invitation just to be on the safe side.

Thank you. February 1st is coming up fast, and there hasn't been a french draw in a while, so I expect to get an ITA very very quickly.
However,
...... In addition, according to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act:
11.2 An officer may not issue a visa or other document in respect of an application for permanent residence to a foreign national who was issued an invitation under Division 0.1 to make such an application if –
at the time the invitation was issued or at the time the officer received their application – the foreign national did not meet the criteria set out in an instruction given under ......
Section 11.2 of the Act requires that information provided in your Express Entry Profile concerning your eligibility to be invited to apply (10.3(1)(e)) as well as the qualifications on the basis of which you were ranked (10.3(1)(h)) be valid
both at the
time the invitation was issued and at the time the application for permanent residence is received.
I might be overthinking this

I am also in the same boat. I get my 1 Canadian Experience completed on May 1, 2025. and also waiting for spouses WES scores. We also havent given any language test. So on such regards - can I just complete my Express Entry profile and leave it hanging - to let it age for the tie-breaker rule?

Without the language scores, you won't be able to open up a profile!

I have old test scores - can I use that to open the profile?
Also can I add my spouses info later by updating?
The Express Entry pool is so confusing....

Spouses? How many do you have?

JK! If it's still valid, you can. However, if I'm not mistaken I did have to put the WES certification # while creating a profile. So you would definitely need these 2 for sure!

in my case, i am not lying about any information. I input my test results, work experience, and they find me elligible. In your case, you will be lying about your test date and WES scores. Do not do it. You will be banned for 5 years.

Ok, on that case I will wait for getting all the documents and then create.
Thanks guys...
