Hello.

I went to montreal on 22nd January and at the immigration desk they asked me 2nd year funds for which i didnt have proof at that time.
So they deported me with 2 papers. One which was titled "Allowed to leave canada".

Im hoping to try again with my documents which i didn't bring last time.

Had this happened to anyone??
Please let me know if any advice!!
Im on student visa and it's still valid.

Thank You

You were denied entry to Canada - not deported. Yes - you can try re-entering with the right paperwork.

Thank for your reply Sir!

Can you please explain "right paperwork"? Do you mean the documents that i lacked the first time or something else?

Yes - what you lacked the first time.

Okay sir.
Would Fixed Deposits which are not older than 6months suffice as proof of fund? Will the immigration officers be more critical of me or is there a chance i might get the Study Permit this time?

Im kinda tensed.
Thank you for your reply

Be careful assuming someone is a "Sir."

The officer wants to see that you have money that will support you. If your fixed deposits are term-limited meaning you cannot withdraw them before they mature, that may not work.

Okay.
Thank you for your reply.

Im having FDs which can be broken either on demand or on maturity.
Im just worried if the officers might not accept it because its i recent FD.
