It goes to CBSA (canadian border) then it goes to Ottawa from what I was told. After Ottawa it will go to ur VO. I had my appeal November and received the decision ltr in December. I was unsure if the application was still here or at my VO so I called the person working on my file. They told me its at CBSA. Then I called them, they told me it's going to Ottawa this week.
Thank you. So after Ottawa it will go back to the VO, which in my case is New Delhi (the worst and slowest VO) I wonder how long New Delhi will take once they receive my file!! This wait seems endless

Where can we find the number of the assigned person who is working on our file after a successful appeal? Thanks if you can guide me on this.
When I checked my ecas using both mine and my partner's UCI, we got no file. I'm also hopeful because at the end of our Full Hearing the judge and the Minister 's counsel advised my partner that the processing will take four months. So we will see.
I found some examples of PPR wait times for you. I am sure that there were some with shorter wait times as well. Don't know if the measures introduced on Dec 15 to halve processing wait times will benefit those of us on appeal.
It's all a matter of perspective. Presumably the years of uncertainty are finally over, and it's just a waiting game now. Think of all the people on this forum that would love to be in your shoes right now. Release yourself from the anxiety and think of this as the last few months of freedom, and enjoy it as such. What are some of the "me" things that you've put off because you've been worrying about whether or not there will be an "us"? What are some of the things that you have to do to prepare for the eventual "us"? Without the burden of worry, the time will pass faster than you think.
Refused 5-August-2015 - Appeal Submited - Hearing at Calgary 20 September 2016 - Appeal allowed, 13 October 2016 Ottawa required update forms --- 27 February 2017 Wife got visa in HCM Vietnam

Totally agree I am just so happy that after 2.5 years the wait is finally over and I am now able to look forward to our life in one country that we choose and that is Canada. I am preparing for his arrival IE making room in the closet, buying a few winter clothes he will need when he arrives. It is an exciting time. Our second honeymoon LOL
