Hi guys, creating this thread for us to share the timeline from receiving PPR to getting our Passports and/or COPR back.

My current timeline is as follow:

23 Jul 15 - PPR received
23 Jul 15 - Passport posted on Canada Post
27 Jul 15 - Passport delivered in Ottawa

I called CIC and they do not have a Processing Time for sending passport back to applicant.

Post here your timelines and your comments.

PPR July 28 and I haven't sent my passport/photos yet because the registry here in our town who take photos are unavailable until end of next week. I will post when I sent them.

Does anyone know if what will happen if there are no one present at home when the passport is resent to us? I will be away for 2 weeks after I submit my passport. Heading to Caribou mountains camping and no reception and mailing address there ... :

It goes to a Canada Post location (they leave a notice in your mail box indicating the address) and, if I'm not wrong, you have 7 days to go pick it up, otherwise it returns to the sender.

I notice that MyCIC also changed status to approved yesterday ;D

I got my passport back in one week after I sent it to CPC-Ottawa.

I wish cic worked on the weekends lol.

One annoying thing is that this weekend it a statutory holiday, it will probably delay it by a day. Well it is in BC, not sure if it's a federal one in Ontario?

Stupid of me, but I forgot to note the tracker nbr of the return expresspost envelope....
So I will not be able to track when sending back to me.
