Alberta Nomination for Postdoctoral Fellows

Hi Folks;

I applied for PR under PhD class on 2012 and got rejected last month after 19 months. I will be starting my postdoc in Alberta from July 2013 and I have the following questions. I would appreciate if you could address those of which you know the answer.

1) can I apply for Alberta Nomination Program while doing a postdoc ?
2) can I apply immediately after starting my postdoc ?
3) would I be asked to provide them with IELTS and $12000 6 months bank statement ?
4) how long would it take before I get the PR ?
5) can I leave the Canada to US (let s say at Jan 2015) and still have my application active here ?

I am wondering if you could find any answer for this question.

I have finished my PhD in September and have been a post-doc at U of C since October.

Do you know if we can apply?

I called AINP today and they said they can not see any problem in our application if we apply.

I appreciate if you let us know about this.
