Airplane ticket for International Student

Hi,

I am going to book my ticket for ottawa. I will be an international student at algonquin college. I will study a post graudate certificate there and the length is of 1 year.

When I book my ticket. Should i book the return ticket also ? Is the border officer going to ask me about that ?

I was planning on a one way ticket because i will do a second yr study in canada afterwards.

Yes a one way ticket is fine. Make sure you have a study permit if you are buying a non-refundable ticket.
