Airline baggage

I’m heading to Canada on student visa this December. On a jet Airways flight from ahmedabad to Canada, the check-in baggage allowance they mentioned is 158 cm. So what if my luggage exceeds by just 8-10 cms, would they charge for this excess dimensions. It’s just 8-10 cm more (3-4 inches).
