Your best bet is to visit a travel agent as they should be giving you the best advise. Do remember that ticket prices depends on the season and each country has it own high peak season and low peak season. So while someone may say a certain airline was best in terms of cost and allowance , it would have been for that period of their travel and may not necessarily be true for when you want to travel. The only true responses you could gauge here would be related to flight experiences with airlines and on-board services and amenities etc. In that respect there are certain airlines ( EK , SQ ) who are well beyond the rest.
So these are the 2 criteria for flying with an airlines. ;D I think the airline people would be happy to put these 2 criteria in their research.
I found that the food quality available in Nehru Place / Khan Market/ Bengali Market is better than food available on Air India. Air India should discard their old arrangement of food and just buy from some shops in Nehru Place / Khan Market/ Bengali Market at ND and serve on flight. It would be cheap also - just 1 $ per meal and it would be tasty and good. Now what they have done is mix up, indian food and western with a awful taste.
