AINP Stream for a postdoc

Hi,

I am a postdoctoral fellow in University of Calgary. I recently applied under the Strategic Recruitment stream Alberta Nominee Program for nomination. My application however was rejected with the following reason stated:

" You receive a stipend rather than a salary and have no deductions for Canada Pension Plan or Employment Insurance. The AINP does not consider you to be in an employer/employee relationship and you do not meet AINP criteria to “be working full-time in Alberta, at the time of application, for an Alberta employer"

Has anyone had a success with PR application while doing postdoc. If so, could you please tell me which is the more relevant stream towards which I must apply?

Did you get file number ? or your application was rejected before that ?
When did you apply under SRS - PGW ?

Hi,

Yes. I got a file number and the application was rejected after that.

I applied for it in May.

I got the receipt of application and a file number on June 14.

And I got the application declined email on August 10.
