I know the age limit for australian citizens to go to canada on the IEC WHV is 18-30 but just recently (November 2013) new zealand citizens have had there age limit increased from 30 to 35yrs of age.

Will canada do the same with australia?

i don't think anyone can tell you whether this will happen!
as you know, new zealand and australia operate separately so may well have negotiated separate deals with Canada.
