After PGWP Inside Canada Application, then Leaving

After graduating in April, I was advised to make my PGWP application before leaving Canada for an extended period due to personal reasons. For the inland pgwp application, a residency in Canada is needed to be provided for receiving the paper pgwp (I was told). My question is, as i am not sure if I will return, I will cancel the lease before I go back to my home country; as such, I will have no address as residential address (Canada is the default country on that section), can I leave it blank or I supply my friend's address instead? I may not get a copy of the work permit at the border when I come back to Canada because it is a inland application.
