After passport request how long for visa now....

hi all
i got request for medical+passport submission+landing fee on 11 sep 2012
i done my medical on 14 sep 2012 and sent my passport and DD of landing fee same day of medical.
my ecas status changed on 28 sep 2012 to "medical results have been received"
anyone please tell me how long from now i should get my visa?
I confirmed with the bank the demand draft has been paid to CHC.....is that positive sign ?
Experts please help

Hi Sonu,
Are you a MI3 applicant, if yes then probably it will take around 1.5 to 2 months approx. but NDVO nothing is for sure. This just from the average time lines that I have observed recently. So you can expect your VISA by mid or end of NOV 2012 . Best of luck for smooth and speedy processing.

Hey 'table'.....dont worry about the medicals results update. Mine never got updated for almost 2 months. Just make sure that your results received the VO by checking with your doctor. I took the courier reference number from my doctor, and checked it with the courier agency to confirm if it reached VO or not. Same thing with your copy as well.

But from my observation, if the update on ecas is delayed, then you probably will have the medicals received and decision made lines almost together with 1 day gap.

yes my medical were received by cic and i sent my passport + medicals+ pof +rpfr

I ordered caips on them it said that medical are ok and i passed
but they are still waiting for security check and criminality check these two have not started yet

i sent all my document on 26 june 2012
