After medical how long to wait

Hi all, I completed my medical mid Dec 09 and paid landing fee and was wondering how long is normal to wait to hear the next stage. They mislaid the bank draft for landing fee so it was re issued about a month ago. Thanks

I am waiting more than 8 months !!!!

Just work on your current affairs.

In the mean time you can order CAIPS and see what they are doing with your papers.

Regarding the London Immigration Office
After the medical, the Immigration office is doing the SECURITY CHECK and it takes from 1-3 months in average
but it may be prolonged if the security check is not fully completed, don't worry friend it takes as long as 3 months + time
taking by post office to transport the letter....of PPR

I am not sure. I asked them several times and they replied me "Your file is in routine background checks" !!!!
I am waiting and waiting and waiting !!!!!

after undergoing the medical, does it 100% mean that your application for permanent residency is approved?

what are the chances when after medical some applicants will not be given the visa?

i v been waiting for 11months and 2 weeks after my medical test, (may 2009)
i got a reply from 5 months that its under the routine background check,

No offence guys, but some countries security check may take longer than usual.
