Hi
i want to know that after decision mad what will be the next when CIC will required passport for PR visa, they just sent e mail that they received our file and they have transfered our file to manila phliphi,in my case My wife is a Canadian citizen and she sponsor me and we both living in korea,I am not korean citizen and right now i am on spouse visa in korea my wife in korea on working visa and her job contract will end in Mar 2014 we already mentioned this to CIC in our application but i want to know that when they will ask us passport for PR visa because if they not give us visa before mar2013 so my wife have to extend her visa and job contract for next year.Any one have any idea about that.?Thanks

I'll just start by saying that NO ONE can predict the outcome of anyone else's application, but we can speak from what we experienced and what we're seeing with other forum members' posted timelines. So here goes . . .

That DM that you see is on the application to be a "sponsor", and now your file has been transferred for Stage 2, it will now sit in queue for 4 - 5 months. For us it took 8 months (from initial date of filing) to get PPR, but I am seeing now that Manila applicants are getting their PPR in as quickly as 6 - 6.5 months. That (optimistically) puts your PPR at mid-end of February 2014. After PPR, it seems to take about a month, so with the most optimistic of timelines you will be right down to the wire on your own personally set deadline . . . perhaps that's perfect timing for you, but will require patience for sure, since you won't hear anything now probably until February.

ok thanks alot....
