We are on same boat I'm also April 2016 applicant yesterday got remedical email from New Delhi office I was stuck in background check 8 months because I'm also from Afghanistan

No worries just stay positive I was also stuck in background check 8 Months after yesterday got email for remedical

Looks like many of us got re medical request which is a good sign. As far i know i have seen other people after remedical it takes around 2 to 5 months. There were some applicants waited only 2 months some waited for 5 months. But i dont think they will delay our case this time. It should be done quicker then before.

Got remedical email on Friday February 2018
The thing is I was stuck in background check 8 months from June 2017 to February 2018
