my app received March 23, Security started May 3rd, NDVO proccessing May 22. i have no idea how long it will take more, its really frustrating

Our file is also stuck in security. Not sure when security started, but bgc went into process on February 27, 2018 in GCKey... application received April 19, 2017...

Hey Farah, our security started May 16, 2018 according to our MP office so it’s been ongoing for 6 months. How about yours?

We’re thinking of tweeting Justin Trudeau or emailing the Immigration Minister about this because it’s not fair that the average processing time is 12 months online but our applications are taking way longer. They should take into consideration the security clearance time when posting the processing times online. Thoughts anyone?

If we were indian or chinese our application processed so fast...but unfortunately we are Afghan for Afghan applicant security check takes so long may be 1 year or 2 year or more.. Im an Afghan too im waiting around 8 Months in security check...they don't know we are human too every Afghan is not a criminal or in security risk...nd in december 2018 my medical test going to expire

I think bcg might be different than security. Bcg could be criminality. Because our bcg always showed as in process in gckey but in May 2018 our MP office confirmed that security was initiated. And I was told security is the last step because they want to ensure they receive up to date information about the PA. I could be wrong though - anybody have thoughts?
