If anyone of you can give some suggestions and advice regarding my situation then that would be so great!
I recently got AINP and have already applied for the PR. I am an inland applicant. I found out that the total amount of time for finalizing PR paper applicants is 16 months, which seems to be a lot, but that is OK.
I was also thinking of applying for Express Entry as a Skilled Worker. I have not taken IELTS yet; however, when I calculated my points including a less than a year of Canadian experience, Canadian education, and 2+ years of experience, as well as the maximum scores on the IELTS--- my point was around 475. So, what are my chances if I submit my application for EE? I realized that Alberta government is not a participant of the EE so I guess additional 600 points will not be counted towards my EE profile. Am I correct?
Should I submit an EE application and take IELTS right away or it is better to stick with the provincial nominee program and wait for the finalization of my PR? I just thought EE would be a lot faster compared to paper PNP applications... Any suggestions would be greatly apprecited!
You won't get 600 points in Express Entry from AINP. If you apply through AINP, you will submit a paper application for PR.
It's up to you, you are spoiled for choice. Check the current processing trends for paper vs. Express Entry applications. You can even submit two applications at the same time if you are willing to pay for them. It's perfectly legal. You will just have to withdraw the other one when the other one is about to be finalized.
