This is my first time posting on the forum. I need advices from you all about my situation. I'm planning to propose to my girlfriend soon and we've been living together for about 5 years.
I'm planning to apply for Express Entry soon. I've worked in an NOC A job for about 1.5 years. So my question is, when I apply for Express Entry, should I list my girlfriend as spouse and also apply for her or should I state myself single and when I get my PR, I apply for sponsorship for her.
She does have decent English skills. She graduated from an university in Canada with a Bachelor of commerce so I think her education would not be a problem.
if I add her to my application, does she have to take an IELTS test. Does it matter if she has a job or not? Is the process for applying with her slower than applying for myself only?

She doesn't have to take the IETLS but it is recommended as it would increase your score. It doesn't matter whether she's working or not, her foreign work experience adds no points to your application but again, if she has Canadian skilled work experience it can also help your score.
You should calculate your score to see whether it is necessary to get those points from her http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
There is no discerning distinction between the processing time when applying alone to the one with a spouse.
Does the length of marriage before I apply for express entry affect anything? For instance, if I'm only married for 1 month before I apply with my wife, does it affect my application.
My score is 1000 after I used the tool you provided (Thanks a lot for the link). Is it enough to get an invite?
Haha then once you set up your Express entry profile (if you haven't) you will basically receive an invitation to apply the next time there's a draw.
Had I known this earlier I would've told you not to bother with your spouse's IELTS and work experience, your score is so high that you do not need those points from her.
