Ok so I'm extremely confused by the govt website and desperate for some guidance and wondering if anyone can help.
I plan to marry my GF of over 3 years in Oct in Canada.
I'm currently staying in Canada on a visiting visa which runs out in Oct.
Ideally I'd like to go back to England as there's several things I need to do there (passport, banking, hospital visit) before I return and start a new life in Canada.
One of the critical reasons for returning is I have a condition (crohn's disease) that requires medical treatment in the UK as well as medication that I require on a day to day basis that I cannot get access to while i'm in Canada without health insurance.
How risky is leaving the country without any status like Permanent Residency/Sponsorship and come back to be with my wife in 2-3 months?
