admission in PG seneca need advise

Dear experts and folks

Kindly suggest ..

completed 12th in 2003 with 78% than mvoed to hongkong for job and worked for 10 years as International marketing manager

Got admission in seneca for PG diploma in international busienss management . (1 year ) course on base of experience profile

Gic is paid /1 semester is paid .

My age is 30 ..

Please advise the chances of visa.

Dear Friend,

I can understand the reason for your concern, It looks like a long shot to get visas as a student after 10 years of work experience. I am not an CIC rep but In the cases I have dealt with so far, there are only a few people who have been rejected. The primary reason was their field of study. For Example, if you have been an accountant for 6 or 7 years and apply for a IT program you chances of rejection go up. At the same time If you can prove on your SOP that you have valid reason to learn IT, they may approve it.

In your case you are enhancing your skills. by taking a PG course in your field. Your chances are good to get a visa. Due to your experience and right course selection.

Decisions are based on the discretion of the CIC officials, my advise is based on my experience.

I think your chance is quite high, my case having more than 12 year in admin and HR field and age is older than you and married status and applied PG HR and asking medical examination. I hope I can get visa soon
