Admission deferral AFTER obtaining a study permit

Hey there! I hope someone who had the same experience can answer this question.

I already have my SP stamped on my PP valid for 2 years (until 2018).

Originally admitted for January 2017 intake, however I need to defer to September 2017 (no summer admission).

Will there be an issue from visa standpoint?

That's not a SP stamped on your PP. Its just a TRV to enter Canada, you will get SP at POE in Canada.
