Hi,

I am helping a friend of mine to fill out her citizenship application and the address info on the form is becoming a cause of confusion.

She is renting and maintained my address (Address A) as her permanent address on all her License, Health Card etc. However last year her accountant filer her Tax Return on the address where she actually lived (Address B). Prior to last year her address on HC, License and Tax Return all match but for the last year.

How do we address this mismatch in our form.

Any guidance will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

If I understand correctly: basically your friend moved addresses last year but did not update drivers license and health card? I would suggest updating the addresses on them first before applying for citizenship that way she has correct IDs to submit..

By law she is required to update her address on licence within 6 days of changing addresses and HC within 30 days
For Ontario she should receive her updated license by post quite quickly and the HC doesn't indicate the address anyway..(I'm assuming she's in ON ..I'm not sure for other provinces)
