I have been trying to change my address by e-mailing Buffalo as I am going to be travelling for a bit (until I land) starting in a few weeks. It's actually now getting dire.
I am the principal applicant and need to change mine and also my sponsor's address. All I have is a client ID, no file number as yet. What information do I need to include? Does my sponsor need to e-mail instead of me?
Ive e-mailed this address: buffalo-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca twice in the past three weeks and all I received both times was an auto reply. Can anyone please give me some pointers? If Buffalo tries to send me anything via mail anytime after next week I will never see it.....
I would LOVE an answer to this as well. I've emailed three times in the last few weeks and just get the auto-reply. My husband is leaving on Saturday to move up here and wait out the PR process... his email and address will no longer be valid after Saturday and I'm not getting a single response. I'm really starting to freak out.
I had to change my parents address whom I sponsored and there file is in Singapore. I have emailed and got similar auto reply. I then DHLed a letter with the file number and address change. They have changed the address on ecas later (don't remember exactly after how long).
The problem is that mmshock and I don't have the File Number from our VO yet... we only have client ID numbers. I wouldn't worry if I had a file number, I'd just send the info.
