Hi, can failure to submit additional documents when asked lead to refusal of PR application? For eg. suppose the immigration people ask me to submit bank statements and salary slips of my work experience and I just submit the work experience certificate and letter of reference, can it lead to refusal. I'm afraid I don't have my bank statements and salary slips of my work experience but can provide work experience certificate and letter of reference. If needed, I can provide a salary certificate explaining how much I was getting paid. Please solve my query.

Yes, of course! Any time IRCC asks for something and you do not provide it, it most likely will lead to refusal.

You presumably have already submitted the "work experience certificate" and/or Letter of reference - did these not include all the required information, such as salary? Even if they did, IRCC obviously wants more evidence. So you need to provide some kind of corroborating evidence for your salary. Tax documents, bank statements, pay slips - it's not enough to say "i don't have" - in most cases, there are ways to get them replaced if you make the effort.

If you absolutely cannot get something, you have to write a letter of explanation and provide corroborating evidence, and then hope that IRCC accepts it. But never just ignore the request.

Suppose my application is refused, can I apply next time? No, I didn't submit any documents yet. At my previous job, I used to get paid by cash. So, I don't have the bank statements or salary slips. But, I'm thinking of working for one year at a different company so that I can have the bank statements and salary slips. I'm wondering if my PR application gets refused, can I apply again after working at the new company for a year with fresh bank statements and pay slips?

We have the same problem only different set of documents.

Can't you ask your company to provide you with a certification instead?

Thanks for your reply. So, I see u have the same problem like mine. Is that right? Yes, I can ask my company to provide me a salary certificate and I already have my work experience certificate.
So, by the way, where r u based? R u from India? I'm currently in Mumbai, India.

Well what I did was ask for a certification that I worked in the company for X years with a monthly salary of Xx.

Then I provided an income rax return for the said years I was employed. I'm not sure about India if they have ITR.
