Additional documents wanted

My partner got a letter in the mail asking for 3 things

Passport
NSO (National Statistics Office Philippines) Birth Certificate
NSO Marriage Certificate

My question is that we've already sent in the NSO Birth certificate and marriage certificate
We will send it again but are wondering why they would want those papers again?

Anyone have any ideas?

Is there a way to find out?

first of all for ur passport request. if u dont have any problem then send them again the required documents in order to avoid delay. when i got passport request they told me to submit a new medical report while my first one was valid for another 6 months. nothing is wrong just do whatever they want u to do. good luck

Yup that's my plan

However because they asked for those docs again, I'm worried that maybe we sent the wrong docs in the first place. I can't imagine that we did but who knows.
The last thing I want to do is send the wrong docs twice.

Thats why I'm wondering maybe if the call centre can assist with that?

they might want originals and for your application you sent copies...
these originals should be returned to you with passport?

me too i thought abt that also maybe they misplaced them...did u follow the guides for the notarized translation and all? maybe they r not happy with that......if they ask again doesn't mean there was something wrong with the first ones!!!! stay positive!!!

maybe they are just asking for extra copies to have on your file, most people here was asked for another original of marriage or AOM, they might just want another copy for your file
