I sent in some additional documents as well my updated FBI clearance to CPC-Ottawa last week as they are going to expire pretty soon and did not want to wait for them to request the documents. I put the UCI# that my partner received when she received SA when sending to Ottawa but i have been reading that the principal applicant and the sponsor received different sets of UCI # does that mean, they will not be able to match those documents to my applicant since i put the UCI # my sponsor received back when we received SA..... any insights would be great.
Yea i havent received my own UCI #, i used my partner's UCI which she received when we got SA. I was sending my second police clearance in case my other one was either invalid or expiring and the notarized letters and referenced the UCI we received at SA instead of the application #. Ill follow up via email with ottawa and contact the call centtre to see if they can located it or if its been attached to the app.
I believe my husband mailed my updated background check attached to his UCI number back in March. I had him mail it in and I think he just grabbed the first one he saw, which would have been the one attached to his SA email. We just reached DM on the ECAS so either we got denied because they couldn't find my background check and didn't bother requesting a new one or we got approved because they were able to figure it out and connect it to me anyway.
Yes. We encountered a delay while preparing our application and had to send it in a couple months later than planned so my police check expired before we even mailed it in January. We sent the expired one with the application anyway but ordered a new one asap. As soon as the new one arrived to my husband he mailed it straight in without any prompting from the CIC. We haven't had any communication with our VO other than receiving SA.
