Additional Document Request

Hello everyone,

I received an additional document request about three weeks ago and sent the requested document two weeks ago. I sent it via email but only received the automated reply from my visa office. How can I be sure that they received it?

Under "review submitted documents" on my cic it is blank. Is it possible to call the visa office and confirm or is there another way to tell it has been received?

Bit more info, I'm asking because they asked for something I already sent back in September... So, I'm confused about if they're getting my emails or if the first document I submitted was just incomplete or not detailed enough.

My visa office is Manila. Can I call them?

Are you also mailing them a hard copy of the document they requested? It could be that the email is enough to show them that you have completed the document but they are waiting on a physical copy to arrive via mail as well.

Our file is processed at NDVO and we alos got Additional document request in Oct.

Wha I know is if in email if it states to send document at mailing address; we must send physical copy there first. That is what we did. Courier company can confirm whether it is successfully delivered or not and that is my proof.

In addition to this; once I got courier company confirmation on tracking website; I sent limited document and proof of courier delivery to NDVO via email to which we just got autoreply.

On GCKey, We do not see that documents are received or not.. but we have various proof that we sent to VO on time.


I think, if your are curious; pls order GCMS notes.

Thanks very much for your replies. I went back and re-read the email they sent a few times and I'm certain I wasn't supposed to send a hard copy. It wasn't a form that needed to be signed or an official copy of an important document.

I think I'll do what you suggested and request GCMS notes this week. I had been assuming that they were receiving what I sent because I got an automated reply but now I'm having doubts.
