addional doc request received but ielts going to expire. please help

i am a feb applicant. i got additional doc request today. my ielts will expire on 5th dec after which my express entey profile will be ineligible, i suppose. i have ielts exam on 3 dec but i will get the result on 13 or 16 dec only. now please help me get the answers for my queries below:
1. if i send the additional docs today and suppose i get the nomination before my profile expires, what will happen? in other words what will happen to the profile with nomination, expires before getting ITA?
2. should i wait until the last day of submission of additional docs to delay the nomination?
please suggest. please

Do you have nomination or not? which province?

not yet. but after i send my doc, there is a high chance they provide one.

Are you expecting nomination from Ontario? what is the deadline for you to send your additional docs?
