Adding spouse after getting copr

Hi guys,

I have mentioned CIC that I got married like a month ago before getting copr and I want to add my wife in the application. They told me to return passport and copr to cancel so I did return. They cancelled and returned back my passport.

My question is when and how they will ask for more documentation for my souse? Any suggestions will be appreciated

25 sept I got my copr
1st Oct I informed CIC about my martial status change
22 oct they requested my passport and copr back
14 nov they return my passport with a cancellation of stamp

Now I’m waiting for visa officer to request for further documentations.

Thanks for your reply.

I haven’t sent any updated forms yet. I have called CIC and they have sent me an application kit. Should I just go through and add a souse through web form?

I suggest you post in the EE or Skilled Worker section of the forum. This section is for Canadian citizens and PRs who are sponsoring their family members.
