I have applied for CEC last year, while I was dating my then boyfriend. Since the application has been submitted, we have gotten engaged and now are married. He had been a Canadian Permanent Resident for over 5 years but CIC has informed me that I should notify of those changes. Since then they have asked for a copy of his PR card and of our marriage license. I have seen most people with information about their non-PR spouse but does anyone have any experience with a PR-spouse. Thanks a lot!
