Adding non-accompanying spouse after CoPR

Single applicant, non-accompanying spouse. PPR recieved. Medical expiry - April 2020

During application, mentioned ; wife not accompanying due to insufficient IELTS score, and will be added whenever the criteria is met.

Now, my consultant says, we can add her after CoPR. By cancelling my Visa and adding my wife, if she's clearing language test and reach the ITA score after adding her.

Is this possible?
