Adding newborn to Spousal Sponsorship (outland)

Hi. Hope everyone is doing fine. Here is my situation.
I am a Permanent Resident and I applied for my spouse through Spousal Sponsorship (Family Class Sponsorship). My wife got pregnant during the processing of the application. We were blessed with a baby girl. Right after the birth of our daughter, we got a letter from IRCC instructing us to submit my wife's passport. We notified IRCC about the birth of our daughter and submitted the related documents.
My question is: What are the next steps in our application? How long it usually takes to add a child and get an updated PPR?
Can you guys share your experiences and timeline?

They'll need to add the child, request medical for her, and do security clearance (minimal for infants of course). Perhaps 2-6 months, with the 3-4 month range most likely.

I haven't heard back from IRCC yet.

You need to send the forms to the embassy not ircc

Which forms are you talking about? They didn't instruct me to send anything to the embassy.

they also didn't reply to me, but I found from internet this steps: update the form IMM 5406
