Since you obtained Canadian citizen by Naturalization, your baby has claim to Canadian citizenship, and cannot be added to your spouse sponsorship application and cannot be issued a visa…………..….refer IMM5533.

You need to update only IMM5406 form with your newborn dependent child details as the Principal Applicant has a new child but is not been added to spousal sponsorship.

No update or change is required for IMM0008 as your baby is a Canadian Citizen and cannot be added to the spousal sponsorship application.
Hence, “How many Family Members, including you, are in this application” the Principal Applicant provided in IMM0008 Application Details Question 3 will not change and no Dependent is added to IMM0008.

Send a scanned copy of newborn Birth Certificate issued by government authorities in the country where the child was born to the Visa Office to confirm baby birth.

Pay the Citizenship Fee for a minor online (75 CAD), apply for your newborn Proof of Canadian Citizenship and also provide proof of application for citizenship to the Visa Office.

That’s what you need to do…….as soon as your receive your newborn birth certificate........you could also contact IRCC.
