Hey everybody, I came to Montreal one month ago as a Working Holiday Visa holder and I'm going to apply for CSQ and hopefully after for PR. I've got one big problem though: I came with my fiancee who won't have enough points to get a CSQ. Can I add him to my CSQ application after I will get mine (if I get it of course)? Thanks loads in advance!!!

You can only add him if you get married or live together for a year first to become common law.

And can we get married (civil union) in Montreal and that would be enough to add her? I called the office today and actually we can get married as Working Holiday Visa holders which was surprising to us :O

Also if we don't get married then when and how will we be able to prove being in a common law?
