add spouse while Federal Pr file in process (CSQ APPLICANTS)

Can anyone please tell how to add a spouse while federal pr file is still in process and if the spouse is outside canada ? I received my csq and applied for federal pr application. Will it affect the processing time of my residency application by large extent . anyone with such conditions please share your experiences

Yes, it will effect the processing time, but if you are in the beginning and you have work permit which doesn't expire soon better do it.
