Dear Seniors
I have two questions to clarify kindly guide me.
1-We are three family members including me and I am is the principal applicant. I want to pay my fees only as my family will not accompany me if I am successful and later on when I got settled I will take my family with me. is it ok Or should I pay for all my family members.
2-If I do not take my family with me can I still claim adapability points for my wife graduation (14 years education).

Q1 up to you, but please understand the difficulties in later sponsoring your partner and children plus the cost of doing this plus the fact that visitor visas for them may be difficult to get plus you need proof of funds for your whole family even if not accompanying you
Q2 no
Thanks for your reply.
But request some more replies on it just for my clear understanding and confirmation in this regard.
Dear Rupeshhari, PMM, LEON pls guide me in this regard.

for confirmation of my answer to question 2, please refer to Section 1.32 on page 31 of the following document
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06e.pdf
also, section 1.17 on page 17 says this about settlement funds
1.17 Settlement funds
Pursuant to R76(1)(b), the officer will determine if the applicant has sufficient funds available for settlement in Canada.
Note: In terms of funds required, the number of the applicant’s family members includes both accompanying and non-accompanying dependants.
It means one can claim points for accompanying spouse only.
