Hi,

I am currently in Canada on a work visa. I would like to go on a holiday and activate my COPR at the airport on my way back to Canada from the UK. Is this allowed? Do I have to go to a special area at the airport to do this?

Yes it is allowed. Before you reach customs you will be sent to the immigration area where the officer will sign your COPR among other stuff.
