Accelerating a 2 year masters and pgwp

I will be able to finish my two year masters degree in 12 months. Does this mean I will get only a 1 year pgwp or will I be eligible for a 3 year one?
The university will say in the letter of graduation that it was a 2 year program.

I know 16 months masters get 3 year but I was wondering if anyone has experience with accelerated programs.
