I took the IELTS exam and during the listening test, for one of the answers, I wrote "SEA FOOD" with a space between the two words and the instructions were to use no more than three words but it is acceptable, the word SEA FOOD or should it be seafood?

seafood is correct but sea food in your situation would be acceptable
