Abu Dhabi - TRV Application Processing Time

Anyone can you please tell me if they had any experience with the Abu Dhabi visa office for a TRV APPLICATION? We are still waiting and it is more than 20 days since I applied! Their processing time as per CIC is 19 days. Did anyone here have a similar situation? Can I contact the consulate and ask about the status or should I patiently wait?

I applied for TRV through the Abu Dhabi VFS centre on April 17th and I got the letter for the original passport on May 3rd that's today. Processing time also depends on your nationality. I would suggest that you wait till the end of this week and get in touch with the VAC center mid next week or contact the embassy regarding your application status. All the best

I applied to Abu Dhabi and got the response in 13 days but with a refusal

I reapplied and still waiting for the response and it is 20 days today.

we cannot predict as the time lines are estimates only.

Hi vjay, how long did it take for your passport to be stamped and returned to you after you submitted it to the VFS centre?

It is 8 weeks now and I haven't heard anything from the Embassy yet. I have tried contact VFS but they said that they cannot do anything .. I sent an email to Abu Dhabi embassy but no response.

I don't know whats taking so much of time and why there is no communication.

I applied for my TRV on April 11th 2016.

Has anyone facing the same prob?

i received the passport request on my second application after almost 55 days on June 07th
