Dear all:

My wife and I landing Canada on May 2005. after 1 month we back to our country.
we landing again on May 2008. after 2 years we renew our PR card. I left Canada on Sep 2010. visit my wife in Canada some time. my PR card expired is Dec 2015.
My wife get Canada citizenship on Apr 2015. after that she back to our country stay with me.
in this case. should I meet residency obligation if I want to apply PRTD?

Thank you very much!

It's hard to say. IRCC may based this decision on the "who accompanied whom" rule. If they do this, they most likely won't allow you to count the time you have spent with your wife outside of Canada towards the PR residency obligation.

You can certainly try applying for the PRTD. If the PRTD is refused and your PR is revoked, then your wife can sponsor you for PR.
