About my eligibility to apply for PR

Hi,

I was at options to migrate to Canada with a PR. I am 27 years old and has more than 3 years experience in a specific job title and about 5 years experience in IT field in total. The issue is, I did my B.Sc degree in Hotel management which is of a completely different stream. I checked with couple of immigration consultancy and they said as my educational background and job title is very different, I won't be eligible for PR. Is that right?

Any advise is much appreciated.

Those consultants are idiots, your work experience need not be related to your education.

I have 3 diplomas each in a different field and i never worked in my bachelor's field. relax. career changes are VERY common! I'm planning another one after i move.
