About FBI Clearance

Hi All,

I was requested to provide FBI Clearance.

After two months waiting, I finally got the electronic version (a PDF file) of the FBI Clearance from FBI website.

I found an upload entry named “FBI Clearance” under my CIC account. Should I just upload this PDF file, or should I wait for the paper copy of the FBI clearance and mail it to IRCC, since the request letter mentions “Provide an original Identity History Summary” ?

Is the 'original' copy means the PDF file, or it is referring to the paper copy?

This is very confusing.

I believe the digital copy you received from the FBI is adequate. Besides, you application is paperless hence you’re given the means to upload. So, upload right away! All the best.
