Hi all :),

Firstly, this is wonderful forum and I hope to get some expert advice on my peculiar case as mentioned below:

My husband was the principle applicant when we first applied for the immigration under Canadian federal class and successfully got it in 2008. Later in February 2009 we did our first trip for landing purposes and stayed there exactly for 5 days. We had plans to move in a year but due to my husband’s job which required him to stay for minimum 3 yrs or until project completion, we decided not to move. Although, the 3 yrs job continuity was not a legal binding but more of good will and better pay benefits.

The completion of 3 years brought us to 2011.

By mid-after 2010, I realized I was expecting my second child and she was born in May 2011. Though my pregnancy and delivery went smooth, after delivery I suffered some post-partum problems which was definitely not in favor of us moving to Canada. Then followed were some family and financial commitments which again brought us in a hurdle.

By the end of all this it was too late because we did not have enough days to make for the residency obligations (720 days). We had 2 children, plus increasing family commitments back in India to support financially and uncertainity of the status in Canada shied us. We were worried to move into anonimity and dark so decided to wait until Canada again opens for immigration.

During May 2014 when Canadian opened federal class immigration, we applied again. We have been through all the processes/steps successfully and normally until it was about time to receive our Medical Request.

But no, to our surprise, instead of receiving the Medical Request,we received the below queries from CIC and I am lost as to what and how to respond.

I am hoping if someone could give me some advice to respond to these:

-Explanation and documentation showing your intent to reside in Canada if granted permanent residence
-Explanation as to why you did not reside in Canada after landing as a permanent resident

Thankfully !

I think the best reply would be an honest one, as you have mentioned in the forum. For the intend to live, the reasoning could be about Canada itself and it being a great nation to live, to raise family, and your dream to move...

Maybe you could remove the better pay words from the part where you all had to stay for 3 years until project completion.
