Greetings! Apologies as this query may not be exactly relevant here, but any quick response will be appreciated.
I am an Indian, in Canada on a Visitor Visa, and need to visit family in UK immediately. Can I apply from Canada itself? If yes, do I need to approach Indian Consulate or the UK Consulate? Please advise, Thanks!
It is always advisable to apply from home country unless you have been living in canada on work permit or hold pr. For UK Visa you will need to show strong ties to India.
Did you bring all the papers with you which you used for Canada visa? You can try apply in Canada if it is so urgent and do explain them the reason why you are applying from Canada than India but chances are very slim.

You must apply at a VFS Global office for the UK visa. You cannot apply to an Indian consulate.
As you already have a visa/in Canada, you can apply for Premium Services (Priority Processing) if you are willing to pay the extra amount in addition to the visa fees.
